Introducing Melbourne’s newest theatre company

The Shift Theatre

Introducing The Shift Theatre an exciting new Melbourne theatre company co-founded by prominent Melbourne based actors Carolyn Bock and Helen Hopkins.   Carolyn and Helen are two theatre makers coming together to work on projects that they feel passionate about.  Together they are looking at developing both classic and contemporary pieces that have captured their imagination.

The first production to launch this exciting new company is with a season of ‘Two Sisters and a Piano” by Nilo Cruz at the The Dog Theatre in Footscray, Melbourne in March 2009. Two further seasons are planned in June and November.  The Shift Theatre looks forward to an exciting future and being part of the already dynamic theatre scene in Melbourne.
